Our Way football teams – Stars United, Galaxy Stars, All Stars, Rising Stars (Under 16s) and Sparkling Stars (women’s only).
The teams meet on Sunday mornings for training at the Wyre Forest Leisure Centre from 10.30 am to 12 noon. Members pay £2 a session. Our Way Self Advocacy has young people (13-17) with learning disabilities who have been trained as Consulters. The Consulters find out the views, wishes and aspirations of young people with learning disabilities across Worcestershire. The information they gather is taken to the Learning Disability Partnership Board and the Transition Reference Group. This is where important decisions are made about services for young people with learning disabilities.
We run a rolling programme of a 3 day course. Day 1 – social skills and relationships, Day 2 – relationships and staying safe, Day 3 – Sexual relationships The course is run by Caroline, with Kate a sexual health professional.
Liberal Stars is our Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Trans group. They meet Tuesdays at 12.00noon, once a month starting at Youth House then out for a meal and a chat about issues they feel strongly about. This group is facilitated by Catherine

We will have a professional counsellor who group members can book for one to one sessions. This group is funded by the Big Lottery Awards for All programme.
The Women’s group meets on a Monday at Youth House from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. The group is a peer support group, discusses women’s issues and arranges their own social activities.
Our Way members play in the Warriors Inclusion Rugby Union Team. They train at the Worcester Warriors ground on Mondays.
They have enjoyed travelling to play at other rugby grounds and in 2019 went on tour to Spain.
