The Safe Place scheme gives vulnerable people a short term ‘Safe Place’ to go if they are feeling threatened or upset when out and about in their local town. Shops, businesses and public buildings who are a Safe Place will display the Safe Place sticker in their window. People can carry a Safe Places Card. You can write your name on the card and put emergency telephone numbers for the Safe Place staff to call if you need more help. To get a card or to find out more, contact the Our Way office on 01562 820262.
You can also download an app for your smartphone which shows your nearest Safe Place. Search for My Town Worcestershire and download.
See below for directories of each town’s Safe Places. Tap on the name of the town’s directory you wish to download.
