Safe Places in Worcestershire
Our Way has been successful in getting funding to roll out the Safe Places scheme across Worcestershire.
The Safe Places scheme recruits local businesses to display a Safe Place sticker in their window. This tells people that staff at the premises will help them if they are upset, being bullied or harassed. People can carry a Safe Places card which shows emergency numbers to contact.
Over the next 12 months the scheme, which has been running in Kidderminster for 2 years, will be launched in Worcestershire’s main towns – Worcester, Redditch, Malvern and Droitwich.
